I had an especially productive studying session recently.

In the middle of an exam week seems like an appropriate timing to write about studying methods, does it not? I have understood that there are four types of learners: an auditive learner understands through listening, a kinetic one through movement and experiencing, a visual type learns best by eyesight and a verbal type picks things up by reading a text. Whilst it is crucial to know what type of learner you are to achieve your maximum potential as a student, in this text I will be covering some studying methods that are useful, no matter where your strengths lie considering the learner types.

I believe we all know scheduling is immensely important when efficient, stress-free operating is wanted. I confess, I have failed to make a studying timetable on every single period of my time in Klassikka. Even though I cannot say it has significantly affected the goal I have set to myself considering studying, now that I look back, scheduling would surely have reduced a great deal of pressure ahead of deadlines, exam weeks and what not.

Another very useful method is to arrange some place that is dedicated to studying and studying alone. At least I have heard your brain functions better if you have one spot clearly for one action, so dining table for eating, bed for sleeping, armchair for Netflix etc. Admittedly, it is easier said than done and yet another thing I am unsuccessful to do, but nevertheless something worth to try, provided you have the willpower it takes. 🙂

Third tip or method (one that I find the most worthwhile) is to find something that makes the stuff you are studying seem a little more attractive and special to you. Be it candy between the pages, a run while listening to Swedish music or educational computer games, the form of this speciality does not matter. If it transforms the matters you try to learn even a bit more fascinating, go for it.

Fortunately, no need to motivate yourself to study is all the while closer. Good luck with the rest of the exam week and have a very, very happy summer!
